Initiative summary:
Yezidi Centre for Human Rights (YCHR) is an organisation working with the Yezidis, an ethno-religious minority. YCHR aims to open communication about sensitive matters in Armenia – the minority rights and state response, on the one hand, and harmful practices inside the community that often constitute human rights violations, on the other. With EED’s support, they plan to resume the news website Ezimedia.com, founded by members of YCHR in 2016 as a voluntary initiative. YCHR organises face-to-face discussions with Yezidi and ethnic Armenians on issues related to the Yezidi community.
