Sowt (Arabic for ‘Voice’), based in Jordan, is one of the most prominent podcasting platforms that work exclusively in the MENA region and in Arabic. With an experienced team in multimedia journalism, Sowt produces rich and boundary-pushing content that reaches thousands of Arabic speakers across the region. With EED support, Sowt is producing and publishing a new investigative series podcast examining human rights abuses and other crimes in the MENA region.
