Initiative summary:

Human Rights and Democracy Media Centre “SHAMS” works on reducing fanatic thinking among youth and promotes the concept of social solidarity instead.

A walk-a-thon “Together against fanatic thinking, yes for democratic thinking” organised by SHAMS will gather around 300 people to walk for democracy. A public debate between Sharia law and secular students, six radio episodes on the topic and broadcasting of a documentary film to youth are among activities which will engage young people in democracy discussions.
