Initiative summary:

Syrians for Truth and Justice (STJ)’s strategy aims at the depoliticisation and professionalisation of the human rights documentation in Syria.

It will make sure to disseminate accurate and verified information that will also contribute through its monitoring and reporting to reveal fake information and rumours spreading over, especially those affecting the social cohesion, generating sectarianism and racist attitudes. STJ aims at promoting the concept of human rights within the Syrian society and supporting individuals as well as communities in claiming their rights, contributing to uncovering the truth behind violations, and rendering justice to victims in order to help achieve a genuine and lasting peace in Syria. It will pay attention to human rights issues and regions that are less covered by other human rights groups.
