Initiative summary:

The Academy for Women, a new NGO from Bosnia and Herzegovina, deals with awareness, empowerment and development of women's potential. They aim at establishing a network of women from different fields to promote women rights and gender equality. Through the organisation of three modular training programmes, participants will be connected and have the chance to network and exchange views. One of the objectives of the network is to support potential female candidates to stand as mayors and councillors during the forthcoming local elections.
