Initiative summary:

Newsmaker is one of the most popular independent Russian language portals in the Moldovan media space. In addition to quality journalism, Newsmaker is a training ground for young Russian-speaking journalists, a place where they gain free media skills.

EED will support the initiative “Fighting Manipulation in Moldovan Media and Internet”, which will provide news and commentary on the issues of greatest public interest, including commentary on sensitive issues in politics, social events, regional and international topics, history, gender and LGBTQI. EED funds the initiative due to its high importance for the independent Russian-language media landscape in Moldova.
