EED seeks a trainee for a traineeship (starting around January 2019) for Administrative and Logistics Support.
Assistance is required to support EED reception desk and support EED’s events and travel arrangements.
The EED has a network of consultants, including in countries of the European Neighbourhood, to help provide the EED Secretariat support in assessing financial reports from grantees. Assignments for consultants on the roster may be between 5 and 30 hours per assignment, depending on the specific report being reviewed. Consultants may be offered a number of assignments per year, depending on the demand and needs of the EED Secretariat.
This is a great opportunity to join EED in a challenging and varied role. As Programme Officer, you will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring EED’s programmes in designated countries in the Southern Neighbourhood region (see full job description for details). You will assess applications and provide guidance to applicants, monitor the progress of initiatives supported, engage in outreach activities, monitor political developments in the assigned countries, and develop relations with the donor community.
The overall objective of this assignment is to provide support to the EED secretariat in organising events relevant to EED’s mandate and in that context support other EED secretariat staff working both on the content and practical aspects of events that EED are involved in organising. Support will also be provided, as required, to EED outreach and monitoring missions.
EED seeks a trainee for Western Balkans Programme Support – The trainee will assist Programme Officers Western Balkan with a range of tasks including reviewing proposals from the Western Balkan countries, monitoring/assessing ongoing projects, collecting and providing information about EED partners’ work and assisting with arranging events and advocacy meetings for relevant EED partners.
